Challenge
Hastings wanted a robust legal firm system that can manage documents, clients, accounting and financial information with tight tracking and centralized storage. The accounting practice of the new system must be designed based on legal firm industry. On Civil and Criminal Litigation department, there are many import tasks that the lawyers must take action on a tight deadline. Migrating the old database to the new system flawlessly also posed a challenge.

Solution
As a result of the needs outlined above, Alfacom recommended a solution, Nexus, squarely met all of the above requirements and objectives of Hastings. The Time Costing Module, the allocation of time cost of lawyers involved in a matter can be easily calculated. The Billing Module, the disbursement, time cost and adjustment can be shown clearly. In the individual client account, the deposit account and prepaid account can be shown separately. The Scheduler function, Lawyers and Secretaries can manage their cases and remind him the importance task to do on a specific date and time. After the trial run, the old database has been migrated to new system safely.
